D. L. Moody Biography 

Greetings to the dear brothers and sisters in Christ! 

           D.L. Moody is one of the most influential and powerful ministers in history.  During his lifetime he traveled many miles, preaching the word to more than a billion people and leading millions to establish a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.  

           Moody's interest in Christ was not limited to preaching and teaching the Word, but although it was his first love, he started educational institutions and Bible colleges.  

           They are, to this day, ongoing.  Moody's Bible College is world-renowned.  Along with that he started the Moody Bible Church, Moody Press.  

          Moody's Childhood :

            He worked very hard since childhood and started working as a salesman in his uncle's shoe store at the age of 17.  

           At the age of 18 he came to know the Lord through his Sunday school teacher and received salvation.  “Faith makes all things possible.  Love makes everything easy". 

          He left for Chicago hoping to make money, but after 4 years he resigned his job to earn souls. He dedicated himself to the service of Christ the Lord. 

         While attending the Sunday School ministry and many other ministries, he was moved by the fire accident in Chicago.  Aiming to give up all his work alone, he set out to proclaim the gospel to the souls who were about to perish and perish in hell, and did not lag behind in the proclamation of the gospel until his finall breath.

His great topic was love of God. 

   Even he was week in speaking English with the inspiration of spirit he used preach the word wonderfully. Not only the word of mouth, but the word of God was in moody's life, and he walked in the way of Christ with the aim of living a life similar to that of the Lord, he used to warn humble yourself otherwise you would cradle yourself . 

In solitary prayer his heart is completely filled. Despite the success of the ministry, Moody was still searching for the power of the Holy Spirit.  Two women prayed with burden for his ministry.  They sat in the synagogue and prayed while he ministered the word. 

 When he heard that we had prayed for you after the meeting Moody said why do you pray for me pray for the people.  Immediately they said "you need energy".  "Do I need energy?" I think myself "Why? I think I had energy".  

This incident made him cry out to God for the power of the Holy Spirit.  One day God poured out his spirit on Moody and Moody could not bear the experience.  

"Faith makes everything possible. Love makes everything easy," Moody teaches.  He was fulfilled by God who chose to influence the world to be used as a powerful tool in His hands.  !
